How long will it take before they can't hide it no more?
Don’t think they are trying to hide anything, it’s how the carrier is built, the lay out of the various compartment and other equipment, that they want hidden from prying eyes. Once in the dry dock, the fitting of the catapult just like in US carrier construction would be covered over.

The above document says the thermal power of the two rectors are 200MW.
The maximum power of the Nimitz class, according to , is 190MW:
"Instead of the gas turbines or used for propulsion on many modern warships, the carriers use two which drive four propeller shafts and can produce a maximum speed of over 30 knots (56 km/h) and maximum power of around 260,000 (190 MW). As a result of the use of nuclear power, the ships are capable of operating for over 20 years without refueling and are predicted to have a service life of over 50 years."
25 MW, even with two reactors, is kind of weak for a carrier. Even the CdG has two 150 MWt reactors.
The Russian Arktika icebreaker (Project 2220) has two 175 MWt reactors and is supposed to displace 33540 tonnes.
China has several SMR projects which should have the required generation capacity.

I dont think that this belong in the 002 thread since its widespread knowledgment that 002 wont have nuclear propulsion. Better to place it in the PLAN breaking news thread, or even start a 003 thread, IMO.
