This is how the british did with the QE2 carrier modules.
I see no activity in that harbor basin whatsoever, and i dont know if they can continue to build up that piece of the hull without it becoming too big to transport out. However, its obvious that the chinese must have a plan to build this ship. We just have to wait for it.
That particular module was one of the smaller ones.

If that is the case they have serious dredging to do because the lagoon look so shallow

It is for outfitting two carriers or one carrier and the crew ship.
I agree. They have a lot of work to do in that place, nothing is being done there right now, and the hull already built is getting too big to be transported out.
