They are practically commisioning a whole aircraft carrier group if the report as per post#11691is true

Hi. If this is true, we'll be looking at two attack groups. In peacetime, sorties have carried one Type 055, one Type 052, and one or two frigates.
I doubt PLA will adopt US navy’s practice. PLA will not use its carriers to attack little countries. Its adversary is the US Navy. When its carriers go out to practice fleet maneuvers, they will be full carrier battle groups.
There are actually 3x 055 DDGs in the 1st photo, alongside 1x 052D DDG anchored closest to the photographer.
Though, I wouldn't expect all three of the 055s in that photo to be 2nd batch 055s (at least for the time being).

From the attached video, there is also one 054B FFG present (rightmost side of photo).
