Isn't Kennedy still being fitted out in dry dock (has been since 2019)? Seems unlikely for her to catch up.
Maybe Ford, if USN want to refit for F-35C. I can't imagine there's that much time remaining for Fujian to launch a J-35 through, could have already happened in recent days for all we know.
Um no? Kennedy is already out of the dry dock and has already tested her EMALS.

For Fujian's case - I'd err on the conservative side for the time being, but I'd like to be proven wrong within these few days.

Interesting! The carrier in the second pic look like Liaoning? They both have aircraft parked behind the island, and I think Fujian has a KJ-600 onboard! August mentioned Liaoning had been close by, too.From yesterday.
Hopefully we'll get a high quality 4K vid like we did with her first sea trial after she returns!
