All cabinets that wernt big got shifted in later.
Because it's a duty of fitting-out officer who supervises the whole process on the behalf of the navy, not shipyard's officials. Those fitting-out officers are sually becoming the first CO of a warship. It's logical.

Liaoning is in the water since 19 Mar 2010. Time for the ship to enter the drydock then?
I would take her from the date of commissioning and go from there.

expect she will hacve a 30-40 yer life time, so her big mid-life dry dock stay (the longest) will probably occur in 2028-2032 time frame.

She will probably have another one half to the for dry dock maintenance, and another at the 3/4 period.

Other maintenance will occur...but a scheduled dry dock time foe her may occur in 2020 time frame or so.

If there are issues, problems, or breakdowns requiring it, she could go in before that at any time...but that's what I would project...again realizing that I do not know how the PLAN has set up their scheduling and life time for the carrier.

Wiring, routing and all that doesn't need to be done in the drydock. It can and is done at pierside after launch. Drydock is for that big full gantry crane to be used to lift large pieces onto the ship being built. Once those pieces are lifted and welded in place and the waterline paint is applied, there is no further reason to keep the ship in drydock. It gets launched and the rest of the fitting out is done at pierside, and the drydock gets occupied by another ship under construction.
Of course a lof of the end wiring occurs after launch.

But as I said, there is also a lot of it that occurs before launch.

I expect the new carrier to launch end of Q1 time frame and perhaps into early Q2.

We will just have to wait and see.

IIRC she was in this dry dock for a short while some two years ago.
Soon after her first builders trial from 10 Aug 2011 to 14 Aug 2011 Liaoning went back into the drydock from 18 Aug 2011 to 29 Oct 2011 for painting the deck and underwatership new.

Between initial leaving the drydock and entering the drydock again the carrier spent a year and a half pierside.

I think, that is a good example for the Type-001A-schedule.

I know from Newport News that a sister ship docked for repair is often used as a visual object for the equipment of a newly built carrier.
