Huu?? At least I see no longer a painted "1", so IMO it was painted over again.

Maybe they never painted anything? Could be that they were just inspecting something, and someone PS’d on the 1.

Indeed a good idea, however other details don't fit ... at least I wasn't able to find an older image with exact this mess on deck.

But this seems to be a recent one, if not from today and it seems as if that small park used for painting the numbers is back....

The possible explanation is that the "paint" that was used few days ago are water based paint, may be liquid chalk powder. Water based chalk paint are easily washed off, and leaves no trace.

(Note: our factory did produced water based chalk paint for side-walk graffiti, for kids in USA)
