He made up the source too. He claimed the rumour came from a Chinese defence magazine but the name of that "magazine" is gibberish that was the result of Russian translated into Chinese.

Yet it is not as if this idea is without possibility. If Russia is to preserve its current naval aviation capability it will need to find some way to get its pilots carrier qualification on a timely basis. And with the Admiral Kuznetsov out of active service for a overhaul they are in the same spot as the French Naval Aviation as the De Gaulle is also in a midlife refit. The French got around this by having its pilots train on US carriers for the time being, so it is not so far fetch to think that Russia could do the same with China, which is the only other country that operates the same type of carriers as they do and the only country that would be willing to work with them in this.

Nope nothing she is not back yet We just have to wait maybe tomorrow

Sea trials may take anywhere from weeks to a month depending on what they want to test, so unless the PLAN has allowed a few journalists on board I doubt we will be getting any new info or pics anytime soon.

Well the NOTAM end in May 18th So we should expect that CV17 will be back in port by then . Normally there is firecracker and celebration providing all went well
So we should expect picture come on line in few days
