) gives for today "Moon Waning 21%" so indeed the highest tides will be not be tomorrow but the difference will not be large. There is also influence of the wind, its direction and strength and the time it has been blowing from that direction.

It seems we might get a ceremony tomorrow. Rather or not the ship will be launched tomorrow remains to be seen. If we do hopefully we can get a official name and pennant number of the ship during the ceremony. Because CV-17 Shandong is just speculation at the moment. It will be nice to have official confirmation.
