The training intensity of cv-17 in 2023 is much higher than the training intensity of cv-16 in 2022. In the case of only an increase of 2 days, the total number of take-offs of fighter jets and helicopters has increased from 320 to 610.

You're correct in the number of sorties per day has increased.

But to clarify, I don't think they're saying they went from 320 to 610 sorties over two days. The way I read the statement is that overall, the JMSDF tracked CV-17 between April 7th to 23rd, and they observed 610 sorties (helicopter and fixed wing) total in that time of which 320 sorties were done between April 17th to 23rd...

I believe test1979 was referring to CV-17's sortie rates over the period of 16 days (Apr 7th to Apr 23rd) tallying 610 sorties as compared to CV-16's exercise back in Dec which lasted 14 days (Dec 17th to Dec 31st) tallying 320 sorties.

So the dramatic increase in sortie rates from CV-17 this time around is notable in that it came about from an exercise which lasted only 2 days more.

24 J-15s are as high as it can get for both CV 16 and 17 right?
Supposedly they can carry some additional fighters in the hangar but we are not sure what's the maximum number before it's unable to operate. Also CCTV once said CV 17 carries half more aircrafts than CV 16 which is very sketchy so take a health amount of salt.

Maybe my description wasn't very clear, but I was referring to the increase in the total number of days.
PS, another difference from the Liaoning training is the ratio of the number of take-offs and landings of the J-1-15.
Among the 320 times of Liaoning training in December, the J-15 took off and landed 150 times.
Among the 610 times of the Shandong, the J-15 took off and landed 400 times.
During the two time periods from April 7th to 9th and April 17th to 23rd, there were 260 takeoffs and landings in a total of 10 days.
