Really? How many people have been injured in these latest "violent" protests? Of course if the government continues to dawdle on political reform I can understand why many ordinary citizens could get a little rowdy.

Some revolutions can be quite bloodless.

This is true, but whilst the China is stuck in its current political state there simply isn't the scope for a revolution in Hong Kong.
