Lmao EU thrown under the bus by the US

The United States, from where AstraZeneca expected to partly supply the EU market, told the EU that it would not export AstraZeneca shots in the near future, Reuters reported on Thursday, citing EU officials.

In.addition the US has also banned export of vaccine raw materials. The EU is getting it raw.

Really? The AstraZeneca vaccine is effective against it? Brazil will have to switch over then. Hell, all of Latin America may have to switch over. What a PR disaster for China. It turns out Bolsonaro was right after all. China needs to step up its vaccine game big time. Start releasing real numbers, get an mRNA vaccine out fast.
Lol are you serious? Now am beginning to suspect that you're not really genuine or sincere with your fake concerns regarding China's need to do X.Y.Z. because base on a few sample readings of your responses on whatever topic of issues you seem to present a consistent anti-China narrative and then trying to feint your initial comments as unintended or blame it on some other nonsensical b.s.

What's your game here anyway? It's not like youre engaging with people here that are gullible and or easily swayed by your fake concern, outrage, that's becoming clear, at least for me as just pure anti-China laden narrative. I know am new at this forum/site and perhaps my observation is just a product of my overly perceptive imagination but I can smell and sense a skunk if I see one. And right now am seeing and smelling one.

Turkey first assessment of Sinovac in the real world.

For those who didn't click, the news from Turkey is that "only 852 of the 1.3 million people who had received both doses of the vaccine were diagnosed with the virus. Fifty-three of them were hospitalized, while five among the hospitalized were in intensive care. Three out of five have already been discharged from the hospital."

Looks promising for Sinovac.

Doing an excellent job at ensuring that one of these days, the Anglo saxons are going to be alone in there struggles in the future and possibly become what they have treated the Africans and Asians for generations, as discriminated minorities that can never be allowed to rise. I swear the swear is purposely organizing things so that one day, the world will collectively have to put the mad dog out of its misery

Like most people here, I don't like to be lectured for no good reason. It's not beyond the realm of possibility that a particular vaccine would become less effective to a mutated virus. The opposite is probably more likely. The lecturing was entirely unnecessary.

Look like after Beijing, China plans to vaccinate people in Zhejiang. I would have thought Shanghai, NE, and Guangdong were more likely candidates but Zhejiang with its enormous overseas population and foreigners make sense.

Replying to my own comment is lame, but I had a thought.

The news from Turkey seems to say that Sinovac has an extremely high effectiveness. I must mention that I am certainly not qualified to judge this; the following are just some easy calculations.

: 83.2 million as of 2019.
Please, Log in or Register to view URLs content!
: 2.807387 million cases, 29,160 deaths.

So a Turk's average probability of catching Covid-19 is 2.8 / 83.2 = 3.37 %

The news from Turkey is that if you get both shots of Sinovac, your chance of catching Covid-19 is now 853 / (1.3 million) = 0.00656 %

So, according to my simple-minded calculation, Sinovac's effectiveness at protecting you from catching Covid-19 is 98.05%.

The news from Turkey, if confirmed, should help to counter Brazil's very biased statement that Sinovac has only 50% effectiveness.

What are you talking about? I already explained this post two posts later. Which you conveniently ignored while selectively quoting from my first post. Since you already asked a question which was answered but you ignored, perhaps you are the one not being sincere.

If not, you should put your overly perceptive imagination to bed. Do not accuse without proof, for you will just go around and around in circles with no resolution and waste time. Just address what is posted if you disagree with it, otherwise be quiet.

Pretending to be a victim again. Pathetic.

@Nutrient and here our health care worker don't want it and prefer the AstraZeneca and Pfizer (which arrival will be delayed by 2 months) that's how fxxk up the mentality of these people. Being inoculated by any vaccine is good to protect yourself especially if you're a frontline worker, its all about science not your personal preference. I'll be receiving the Sinovac vaccine within the month, our Filipino Chinese charity association had secured a supply thru the intermediary of the Chinese embassy itself and had to pay $40 for the 2 doses.
