What are you talking about? I already explained this post two posts later. Which you conveniently ignored while selectively quoting from my first post. Since you already asked a question which was answered but you ignored, perhaps you are the one not being sincere.

If not, you should put your overly perceptive imagination to bed. Do not accuse without proof, for you will just go around and around in circles with no resolution and waste time. Just address what is posted if you disagree with it, otherwise be quiet.
"Start releasing real numbers"..the implication of this statement you made inferred that the Chinese authorities are dishonest along with their figures released to the public which is not to be trusted.

If that wasn't your implication then you could have chosen your comment with more tact rather than simply blurring out your inherent confirmed bias if your intention was innocent. It's not like you have any difficulty writing in English based on your bazillion responses or post history. So your successive comments don't fly with your habit of peddling, accusing, China of malfeasance and sinister motives only for you to adjust and twist yourself like a pretzel when caught.

It's like accusing certain minorities of criminal guilt based on some erroneous evidence or reporting jumping to the conclusions that said report must be true based on your own pre-conceived held beliefs which is prejudicial, only to backed away when the said report or evidenced were flimsy and circumstantial at best; expressing a mild form of mea culpa or feigned ignorance to escape accountability and then act all indignant about it.

You are accusing me. Should I not act indignant? Of course I act indignant.

There are two senses of the word "real" in English. One means 'true' as opposed to 'false'. But the other means 'compete or utter; being precisely what the name implies'. And that is what I meant, as I have said in this very thread, that China should publish a completed Stage III clinical trial with shared data, published in a scientific journal. Which it still has not done. I am not saying that it is dishonest; simply that it is incomplete. Russia has published the data, China should too.

So as you can see, you are wrong. You are (1) making false accusations without proof, (2) derailing the thread and (3) starting an argument of a personal nature. Please get back on topic and if you have something substantive to say about Covid-19 go ahead and say it but otherwise this is inappropriate.

The math on the latest deal doesn't add up. Turkey already has orders for 50 + 50 = 100 million doses. Why do they need another 50 million? The country has a population of 80 million, and assuming all doses are delivered this would be vaccinating 75 million of them, which is not practical at all considering they will get at least SOME of the pfizer and sputnik doses. Or maybe Turkey will also help with exporting chinese vaccines, like how the UAE has made itself into a pharmaceutical powerhouse in the middle east and brazil in LATAM? The only issue is turkey's closest ally Azerbaijan already has 4 million doses of Sinovac as well.

Turkey only ordered 5 million doses of Pfizer/AstraZeneca. A Turkey company inked a deal to manufacture Sputnik but no mention of procurement yet.

All three health workers are under 50 and need to be treated for blood clots. I think it is not just fear mongering anymore and require more in depth investigation. I wonder why the UK didn't report such side effects. AstraZeneca vaccine is cheap and can be mass produced. Many countries rely upon it for vaccination especially those poor countries. This is bad.

@Nutrient and here our health care worker don't want it and prefer the AstraZeneca and Pfizer (which arrival will be delayed by 2 months) that's how fxxk up the mentality of these people.

Perhaps the Philippino authorities were influenced by Brazil's declaration that Sinovac was only 50% efficient. Duterte apparently prefers Sinopharm.

I wouldn't be suprised if the Brazilians administered only one dose of Sinovac to their volunteers; the reported 50% efficiency is eerily similar to what one would expect from just a single dose. The Brazilians may have lied about following the full protocol (two doses). Does anyone know what exactly they did?

If the Turks are using Sinovac, they will need two doses per citizen, or about 166 million doses total.

Meh I don't think there is any conspiracy here. Sinovac is just incompetent in marketing. From what I know no other western company decided to perform their first tests with medical professionals who are regularly in contact with Covid and thus reducing their efficacy.
Sinovac did exactly that and then it blew up in thee faces when the results came out unusually low. Maybe next time they should hire westerners for their marketing lol

Turkey first assessment of Sinovac in the real world.

$36 per dose for Sinopharm is expensive. Probably due to the fact the vaccines need to be all delivered before end of May. I think Israel paid $30 per dose for Pfizer so it can be delivered early. Prices have seemed to be gone up for fast delivery.

1.3 million have received 2 doses of the Sinovac vaccine (A total of 10.7 million doses have been administered) and there were no fatalities.

Another thing is this. Older and more at-risk of the population (65 years and over of age) were vaccinated during the initial phase of the vaccination.

(quoting from the news report)
"After health care workers, a vaccination drive was launched for senior citizens and it was later expanded to public sector staff, including teachers. Younger people, that is, below 65, will have to wait for their turn."

This would mean that the outcome would even be better when they start to vaccinate younger people below 65.

It looks like the result is better than some of the other vaccines.
