See how the World Bank played politics in my country, China promises the Philippines 500k vaccine to be delivered Nov of last year for PRO BONO. At the same time we were negotiating a loan from the World Bank. The precondition for that loan approval is for the purchase of Pfizer or other Western vaccine only and without the need for a clinical trial. Now the Chinese renew their initial offer after the request from our Foreign Secretary Locsin, but they need to follow protocol so a clinical trial is needed for FDA approval, see the bias and inconsistency of our gov't official, We FXXK UP big time because of our bureaucratic incompetence.

addendum: I don't understand why we have to obtain loan from the World Bank, we have multiple choices now with favorable terms, one of them is CHINA.

MANILA — China intends to donate some 500,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses to the Philippines, “in keeping with President Xi’s commitment to President Duterte," according to visiting Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said Saturday.
A grant agreement on Economic and Technical Cooperation worth P3.72 billion was also signed by the two nations for the financing of livelihood projects, infrastructure facilities and "other projects to be mutually agreed upon by the two governments," among others.
China's foreign minister announced the development to Foreign Affairs Chief Teodoro Locsin Jr. during their bilateral meeting earlier in the day, according to a DFA statement.

The DFA said this was the 7th grant provided by China since 2016.
"This brings the cumulative grant resources received from the Chinese Government to a total of 3.25 billion Chinese yuan, or approximately PHP24.16 (b)illion," the statement read.
Meanwhile, asked to provide specifics on the vaccine to be donated by China, Ivy Banzon-Abalos, DFA Office of Strategic Communication and Research’s executive director, told reporters in a text message that “it will be up to the donor normally to determine which companies the vaccine will come from.”
Banzon-Abalos said it would be best to ask vaccine czar Sec. Carlito Galvez regarding the details of the vaccine donation and its timetable.

“China has said it will take into consideration our side’s needs,” she added.

Locsin, meanwhile, expressed his gratitude to Wang for China’s assistance to the Philippines’ public health response since the outbreak through in-kind and equipment donations.
Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Huang Xilian earlier confirmed that COVID-19 vaccines developed by China-backed pharmaceutical company Sinovac may arrive "as early as next month,” citing a "new era of partnership" between Philippines and China.

Do you have a source for the World Bank loan which only specifies a Pfizer/western vaccine?

Sorry I don't and the World Bank never publicize the detail of the text( loan agreement), all I've got is conjecture, I based it on the timeline the vaccine offer was given and negotiating for a loan is being done. President Duterte even announce it publicly about the vaccine offer after that silenced , it wasn't acted upon by the bureaucrats so I'm guessing there is a collusion involved. You don't embarrass your President as a public servant your role is to implement his wishes/order in full.

It really do be like that!

Based on what I hear from doctors, the mRNA vaccine elicits strong immune reactions, whether it's to the antigen or the polymer nanoparticle.
I'm guessing the really old/frail people just couldn't handle it.

That said I also expect to hear stories on Chinese vaccines resulting in Bell's palsy n other shits, and then China gets crucified for it.

Even now they still claim China pushed out vaccines without finishing phase 3:

What the Western MSM has done is try to drag down Chinese pharma to Indian/Russian standards.

They going hard at it.

Everyday there's like at least 10 imported cases. Despite the draconian & stringent flight rules, it still happens. I'm beginning to suspect Five Eyes constantly trying to introduce COVID into China thru paid dogs (FLG, Guo followers, etc).

Nah you have to realize, pretty much 1% of every plane that lands is gonna have at least one case. The truth is the vast majority of cases are essentially screened and stopped dead at the airport.

Its a cost of doing business, and China is not anywhere close to the lockdown mode in wuhan back last January. This is nothing.

The U.S. has 25 (twenty-five) Bio-labs scattered around the world. These Bio-labs are administer by the U.S. Pentagon.

Bats that harbored coronavirus exist in other parts of the world besides China. The U.S. has a Bio-lab in Tbilisi,Georgia. This Bio-lab(Lugar Center) collects coronavirus.

Here's proof Fort Detrick does have coronavirus in its pathogen collection. Read the caption underneath the photo from the following link.

Idk what's so suspicious about having a disease outbreak around the lab where the animals you study reside.

If I'm studying malaria, I'd like to have a research center where malaria outbreaks tend to occur. Just cuz malaria cases rise or some mutation occurs don't mean it came from the lab.

If I'm studying Zika virus, the best place to do it would be in Brazil. With some labs close to possible origins of Zika.

It's also common to send samples to other labs around the world to access different research resources.

But sinophobia tends to blind even the logical.

We also have traitors like these backstabbing us:

Gonna write a complaint from my official email to the broad institute where she works. If it don't work then I'll have to go up the administration.

Did Pfizer include the elderly in their test groups?
The bigger question is shouldn't that be a part of the phase III testing to identify risk before approval by CDC?
Norway and rest of the world is now part of the Pfizer's Phase IV trial to identify risk.

Since identifying risk in Phase III trial is not standard CDC practice. India's Serum institute is smart to skip Phase III testing.

It’s all healthy adults roughly 20-55 yo based on what my doctor told me.

No kids, few elderly, no data on sick people

@B.I.B.

But it’s good enough imo. More benefit than risk.
