Take a look at COVAXIN which was approved. They only started Phase III testing on Nov 25. No peer reviewed results for Phase II even. Zero interest in the vaccine outside India. It is the same technology as Sinovac and Sinopharm though, so it should work. Fingers crossed.

Pretty sure they have achieved herd immunity already
They've been pretty good with masks and their transportation infrastructure is abysmal. I doubt they even close for herd for its 1.4 billion.


All this will only prolong indian suffering.

If they ask for Chinese help nicely, Chinese can help. We're good and forgiving people.

Check out this dude’s article. He is a Chinese who married a Tibetan from Ladakh and currently living in souther India. He thinks India has already achieved herd immunity

I'm willing to give India benefit of the doubt here.

Herd immunity must be accompanied with deaths and hospitalization numbers, which are not that bad in India based on what regular Indians have been saying.

I guess it's also possible that Indians/Africans are naturally hardened/immune to a lot of pathogens.

You think the Indian government is competent enough or care to count the Dalit deaths?
