Off topic but I've always liked Dan Carlin and his history podcast but his tweet is the cherry on top. Mad respect to him.

Today, the U.S. has broken every record set since the pandemic began 10 months ago, with more new infections, hospitalizations and deaths in a single day than ever before.
If the numbers still increase, it would truly be a hellhole landscape. The vaccines are being rolled out, though you wonder if they are coming fast enough. This is probably the aftermath of Thanksgiving, and there's still the yearend holidays where many people will hold gatherings regardless of restrictions.

This is why the conventional method is desired.
Production can be scaled up very easily. There is no simple way to scale up RNA production.

Nothing of note other than cases in Texas have been going on a numbers are on daily and weekly highs with coronavirus. I haven't had any incidents with people since I've been mostly staying home but a particular demographic i.e. conservative white people seem to be approaching the pandemic haphazardly. Other than that more of the same though another economic aid package but we will have to see due to the gridlock in Congress.
