The more this depressing pandemic goes on. The more China's effort to contain it look good. And the way the western nations poo poo China's efforts as draconian. Etc. Its just pure political points scoring.
Remember the fanfare the UK made by sending planes to pick up their "stranded" citizen. Oh how they wish they have stay put. Lol
To be honest, right now the western world is now in very deep shit given that the pandemic seems to have upgraded in these nations to the point where shutting down or not, means nothing given that the pandemic will eventually infect entire nations and kill loads of people. All this mind you is the fault of the government and people who don’t take this seriously (even now they are convinced that this is a hoax). Now, it would seem this would have the potential to truly do what Russia and China couldn’t have done easily and only with extreme loses, take down the world super power a few pegs and even ensure that the USA will eventually loses its super power status. If this virus is indeed created by the USA, talk about this being a complete backfire
