Yeah, saw that. But the more striking headline from CGTN today is..... India has passed the 4 million infected mark and it's only 2nd to the USA, who, let's face it mis-managed it completely. And India wanted to fight China! Gee.

I am interested in the real death count since having that many infected means they by India’s health care (which sucks for the poor and there is vastly more of them) there is going to be thousands upon thousands dead everyday, hence why modi is practicing golf post shifting in order to avoid responsibility given his terrible performance

Short term relief but long term chaos and pain since this virus doesn’t discriminate (unlike India and the USA that loves to crap on minorities) hence really, if the choose to fight a war in the next two months ( when the virus on an unofficial levels starts to blow up in the death count given the spreading power) then there populations will suffer so much that either the leadership starts to concentrate on the virus 24/7 or face an uprising that is akin to the French Revolution (or in India case let the poor die on such a scale that will wipe out half the population and hence weaken India greatly). Either way, the long these nations try to switch goal post, the more they will suffer and lose ground against China (the one country that would be happy to help if both nations stopped being green with envy)

Covid19 is doing to India what the west originally hoped/expected it to do to China, where high population density and poor medical services availability means explosive growth and high mortality rate.

I think it won’t be long till we have a new king of COVID19. I’m sure Trump would be pleased.

Talk about having the target changed. And the USA is still getting the worst of it even now, talk about never ending karma for those selfish bastards. Trump is even trying to prevent a working vaccine from reaching the people while a comparative one developed in the USA has a great potential to fail like boeing, not to mention that the whole world cannot trust them because it as been tested around the world yet

At the risk of sounding like Trump. I'll say this. Please don't beat me up guys. Now, obviously no one is wishing any death in this sorry saga.

So having said that, I believe US cases still got a long way to go before it run its course. India is catch up fast, so could take over as numero uno any time soon.

Either way, both countries will be 1 and 2, with high cases and death rate than any other country.

All this because both leaders have handled this the most incompetence way possible, dispite having prior warnings through (dispite what Trump said about China and WHO) China's own dealing with this virus before everyone else.

They both wasted time offered to them via China's own battle, and then did nothing to learn from China's methods, like we all seen, building hospitals, lock downs etc. But instead, they popo China's effort, and demonized China for being draconian, blah blah.

From China geopolitik point of view. China policy makers probably won't be too unhappy for this situation to drag on for a little bit longer in order to provide breathing space for China to continue its consolidation in geopolitics world wide.

In the words of Trump. "It is what it is".

No offense taken, also don’t beat me up for this but I still feel like the USA is still trying to cause trouble everywhere around the world while everyone is suffering the pandemic, what with there actions harming every country in the world from China, Iran, Russia, Germany and even countries like the UK. Hence I pray that an even greater disaster hits the US, not necessarily to harm the people but to absolutely destroy there leadership throughly (aka Trump, republicans and the democrats alike) so that it will give the world room to breath, to be able to do there own thing without the USA shaking the world down for money and save there population from this pandemic without the USA trying to bully every country while their idiot population cheer them on while be completely oblivious.
Hopefully whatever disaster hits can finally get them to realize that not only does the world doesn’t revolve around them, but what it is like to live in constant fear of getting bombed/attacked after all they have done. I am pretty sure that lots of countries around the world would like to get a crack at removing there 800 bases around the world sooner or later
