I know they have a lot of false negative tests. But I don't think it is possible to have false positive tests.

The only way to have false positive is contamination during the sample collecting process.

It is not false positives but people who test positives have been discharged after 14 days of quarantine and 2-3 tests of negatives.

I see all those temperature checking as a huge joke!
That worked during SARS as one get very infectious when symptoms showed such as high temperature.
Even then not much of a use as folks with SARS AND high temp were normally so sick that they could hardly move.

With C19, folks with that are very infectious days before their temp rises. And even then, they may not show high temperature either.

Much more to the point will be EVERYONE PUT ON A F*****G MASK.
Why should that be so difficult shows how inane and idiotic humans can be.

They basically trace asymptomatic infectees by systematically testing everyone who came within contact with a patient within a given timeframe. I don’t think they can find all the asymptomatic patients.

They should have a database of their asymptomatic cases, we should know that number. It would bring mortality rate down.

At the moment of talking, Cambodia has 109 cases, mostly imported. however, the whole country is very anxious with about only 50% traffic flow compare to before the pandemic. Schools, bars, Karaokes are ordered to close (restaurants and cafe still open) and our Prime Minister is consider to put the country under emergency state. Shops are closed or half closed. Almost all facilities place hand sanitizer and temperature thermometer in front of their shops. I'm OK with masks and hand-wash liquid but thermometer? Like what you have said, an infected person are infectious before temperature rise, so what's the use?
