In his preamble does he take back the remarks in the podcast? Nope.
Does he say that panicking and media hype is now justified? Nope.
Has the virus spread in the last two weeks beyond expectation? Yes.
Should we take precautions? Yes.
Should we freak out? No.

Now it's about grammar and some other episodes?

No this is about your inability to properly apply e^x functions to an analysis. Your making the assumption that anything which exhibits exponential growth in one stage will continue growing exponentially forever. The problem highlighted by the people I cited earlier, is that decaying infrastructure has caused a lack of testing/treatment, not that this virus itself is some 'godzilla.' On top of that, there are clearly way bigger problems in the world than this virus, but none of them get as much media attention and hype. I mentioned multiple catastrophic practices that are currently threatening our entire ecosystem, but no one here is panicking about any of that.

They're also increasing the daily number of tests administered so the increase in daily positive cases is more or less expected.

More alarming is the increase in death, +627 today, resetting the record every day.

They have not reached peak yet, no one knows how far we are from it.

i know i have been shunned off this thread for my "inappropriate" skepticism of this coronavirus panic, but heres some sources i heard since yesterday:

1. Neil Degrass Tyson (with Dr. Redlener) said the fact that people are panicing more about coronavirus than the normal flu makes no sense, since the flu kills 100 people in the US everyday. He said its all cuz of media hype.
2. Noam Chomsky said the problem is the failing US infrastructure, which is why other countries handled coronavirus without problems
3. Scott Golloway said the same thing as Chomsky, and questioned why Norway had a 0.2% death rate while US had a much higher rate due to horrible infrastructure
4. Elon Musk said coronavirus panic is "pretty dumb" (lolz)

anyways... now you can all resume panicing and hoarding toilet paper. Im out.
