Anyone here who can read medical research papers? Because this to me suggest that previous infection doesn't really confer good immunity and might cause Original antigenic sin for future variants.

Immune boosting by B.1.1.529 (Omicron) depends on previous SARS-CoV-2 exposure​

B and T cell immunity against previous variants of concern was enhanced in triple vaccinated individuals, but magnitude of T and B cell responses against B.1.1.529 spike protein was reduced. Immune imprinting by infection with the earlier B.1.1.7 (Alpha) variant resulted in less durable binding antibody against B.1.1.529. Previously infection-naïve HCW who became infected during the B.1.1.529 wave showed enhanced immunity against earlier variants, but reduced nAb potency and T cell responses against B.1.1.529 itself.

I am sorry but what was he responsible for? Why are the blood of 4000 folks being placed squarely on his hands.

Let's see:
  • refused BNT vaccine on account of Fosun being the dealer for greater China area, resulting in extreme lack of vaccine in 2021
  • repeated mismanagement of sourcing masks, so that even in 2022 people had to line up for masks in this most recent wave
  • only authorizing RAT kits approved by government, and giving contracts to source such kits based on political favor leading to lack of kits
  • personally violating his own pandemic prevention policy by going to dinner organized by pharma bosses,

I still remember the golden comment someone made back during delta wave when he wanted to keep 阿公店 running and said they could be managed and be safe. The comment under that was "奶罩都不带的地方你要人家带口罩“
