Yep. Mandatory 48 hour tests if you want to partake in society. Testing facilities within ~15 mins walking distance no matter where you are in a large city. There will still be outbreaks, but with more and more experience those outbreaks will be quashed more effectively.
The virus has gotten more transmissible. China has also gotten better at containment. COVID is not black magic. It still follows the laws of physics. Virus particles cannot spontaneously materialize in your throat. As shown time and time again, zero COVID works if done properly.

My dad and I being Shanghainese were quite worried about the Shanghai outbreak, what with grandma in 洋浦区 and in the thick of it. In our view prior to the Shanghai outbreak China has proven itself being able to recover when daily cases are in several thousands with original strain an daily cases in hundred with delta. This challenge is both daily ten thousands and omicron. So glad that dynamic zero was proven successful once again.
With this success (I'm also counting this most recent Beijing flair up) it means dynamic zero is able to both effective contain Omicron when everything goes to plan, as well as control big outbreak if there was a major fuck up.

From what I read earlier, higher ranked officials gets sacked like after the epidemic has gotten contained, and well I suppose they still haven't announced victory in Shanghai yet.
