Sorry, but immunity means you're immune. "Boosting immunity" is a weasel word that means you're not actually immune.

So many people have gotten covid multiple times, the whole immunity story is just a bedtime story for the credulous.

Immunity is definetely a loaded (+ wrong) word to use.

However the point is the same, 2-dose vaccine + infected and you get "super" protection.
With the covid pills now getting rolled out, I think the West has a great chance of opening up completely.

Inb4 the West ignores the poor countries again and thus a new more lethal variant is created...

Semantics. Immunity as a medical term of art always means resistance, not impossiblity.

I think the point is that what's used in medical circles is not always the most suited to be used to communicate with the public.

For example, I personally had the displeasure to listening to quite a lot of people boasting how they are totally safe from covid after they got the vaccine. And they wanted to break the rules because "i am immune, covid cant harm me because I got the vaccine"

Being immune to COVID now is pretty meaningless because COVID is a constantly evolving virus, just like the Flu. At best we'll only be getting temporary immunity. And it's idiotic to intentionally getting or letting oneself be exposed to COVID to get the "boost", when we could just easily go get the booster vaccine jab itself. And no, this boost still won't save us when another new deadly variant emerge a few months down the road.

Therefore, for the foreseeable future, before better vaccines could be produced, Zero Covid is the way to go, if the elites of a country really cares about its people, and not just think COVID is another nice opportunity to fuck up the plebs.

Sheesh, aerosolized vaccine is the perfect way to deal with Omicron as it is optimized for the upper respiratorial tract. This is what people globally should be boosting in the first place.

So when's the last time you heard someone say they're immune to the flu after getting the flu shot?

You get immunity from measles because the vaccine gives you 99% resistance. You don't get immunity from the flu because the vaccine only gives you 30% resistance.

It's now 2022. Vaccines have been out for a full year. Where's that super protection?

UK is now removing masks. Most of them have immunity due to 2 doses of vaccines and then infection.
