FDA releases Pfizer Trial Results.
The problem with this type of surveillance data is we don't know if these 1200 deaths are due to vaccine or other causes like natural death, cancer, cardiovascular disease, comorbidites, etc... All we know is that there is 1200 deaths within 90 days of vaccination, but it literally could be death from COVID-19 during those 90 days, and it will still be part of this mortality database, which collects "all-cause" mortality from any source within 90-days of vaccination. It's for exploratory hypothesis generating data, you can't make any conclusions from this study.
Another part of problem is that this surveillance data is usually self-reported, or death has to occur in a hospital system where they have access to history of medical records. There is inconsistency in the way the data is collected which is a form of sampling bias.
The 6 month Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) for Pfizer and Moderna had zero deaths, and in clinical trials, they actually follow-up and monitor you for death and adverse events, whereas surveillance data is self-reported and you don't know the actual cause of death is due to vaccine or another disease or from COVID.
TLDR: RCT evidence has zero deaths, and this surveillance data cannot determine if the cause of death is vaccine-related or another reason.
