Can anyone here care to comment on this alleged smoking gun of the possible lab leak theory that supposedly occurred at the Wuhan lab in China.

Its more red herring. I think Fauci did fund some 'gain of function' research in the WIV. But what happened next was not Covid-19. Nothing actually happened. This funding of research thing can be traced back to any collaboration between the NIH and WIV over many years.

All this investigation on Fauci is a US right-wing effort to blame the pandemic on China and drag Fauci down with it. Its drama and distraction from the real Covid-19 investigations and drama.These are the same people who spread the BS of anti-mask, anti-vaccine, anti-lockdown, and the miracles of hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin. Look at who is the lead guy trying to pin Fauci. It's Rand Paul. He is part of those right-wing nut jobs.

These fools have been proven so factually wrong on so many things. Yet there are millions more people who would totaly believe them. Their BS is spreading easily into European media, Russian media, Indian media, and social media all around the world. I had to tell family and friends to not buy overpriced ivermectin for no good reason. All because its the trending thing on social media. Its a sad world to be in.

Us here in the Philippine had a lockdown for 3 weeks and the effect is profound, from a high case rate of 18,000 per day it's now 4,340 yesterday and we're able to do it with less resource. Brother its election fever here in the metropolis and my friend often ask me whom to vote, the obvious answer is Duterte like candidate, why? without Duterte as President we will have riots in the street which will target us Hua Qiao as the elites and its cohorts in gov't will often do to deflect the problem and absolved their incompetency.

Since we aren't allowed to discuss politic here, I won't go too deep into it.

Congratulation, the Philippines finally gets Covid-19 under control. Vietnam has similar achievement as their daily case are about 4000+ too. I believe The Philippines' vaccine visa will also be recognized within SEA countries. Will you book your air ticket right after the restrictions are lift? Not for a while for me unless the travel is fundamental. Cambodia reports 111 new cases today and these results are confirmed by PCR testing. Honestly, I don't trust this result very much because I see so many cases still happen around the country and many people don't report to government after being infected. They treat the disease by themselves using pharmacy medicine. However, the government says they have to open the country to save economy. Well, let them do it!

I was out to dinner last night with some friends who were white. The conversation turned to COVID-19 and one them was lauding New Zealand's handling of COVID-19 pointing to how if just one case shows up, they shut down the area for a week. Isn't that the zero-tolerance policy the West criticizes China for doing...?

Well this guy who said this to me believes news posted on Facebook... I just thought it was another example of how something China does is bad but when a Western country does it, it's an example how professional a "Western" country it is.

These days every time I see the media all of the sudden report "outbreaks" in China, I know it's because there's been a rise in COVID-19 cases in Western countries. And by the numbers Great Britain is reporting a drastic rise in cases despite claiming how vaccinated their country is and also in the US, several states are reporting going the opposite direction when cases were trending downward last.

I think the western headlines are for the gordo chan disciples. "Severe covid outbreak in northern China province, is this the end?!" Click link, 50 tested postive -_-.

Some US scientist is thinking that Covid runs in a 2 month cycle but the UK graph shows that it is sustainable. The theory is that virus runs out of potential easy victims in each cycle after 2 months. Maybe some people are more immune or people wise up and become more cautious.

What is the difference between herd immunity reached by vaccine and natural exposure? None.

People have been repeatedly contracted influenza, and every year people take flu vaccines.

Wrong. 1918 flu pandemic ushered in Roaring Twenties. 1920s was a golden time for the US. The Chinese have an old saying. 大病一场。 不亦乐乎。脱胎换骨。If you never get sick, you will die. If you get sick frequently, you will be healthy. China should embrace covid, not shy away from it.

You are proposing and enjoying the golden time at the expense of hundreds of thousands or millions of death of other people? That is anti-humanity and murderous.

Why don't you go out and naturally capture COVID and contribute to the herd immunity? And after breathing through the ventilator, come back here and laugh at the experience? And tell us how you become a new person after switching your bones? I myself would be very happy to watch all these to happen.
