J&J is a big name. Also, J&J vax was developed by Janssen which is pretty well known in Europe. CanSino is not a big name. CanSino would have been popular in Canada considering its founder was educated in Canada and it would have been manufactured in Canada. Only if CanSino is popular in Canada would other western countries approve it.

In your earlier post, efficacy was the goal, now it becomes brand name.
What is really your benchmark of judgement? Or you don't have one?
For a vaccine to work, only efficacy matters, "big name" worth a piece of junk.
You sound like CanSino cares about the market size of Canada. You also sound like as if Canada is an important flag/marker/reference in the whole western world.

Canada is an important market for CanSino. To date, CanSino does not sell in any 1st world country. To get into Europe, US, Australia, New Zealand, Canada is absolutely necessary due to Canada's good relationship with them. You have to learn to walk before you can run. And you can't learn to walk without Canada.
