The long-winded intelligence report is just a long-winded way of saying "TRANSPARENCY", implying Chinese gov't has none, and therefore needs to be toppled/replaced with a pro-US puppet state.
Yes, it's just US diplomatic double-speak for "transparency" and "rule of law" and US should be "tough" until China changes to a "Democracy" (e.g. US dog).
I think even most Americans know it boils down to a political witchhunt, just like Americans know politicians love to blame someone (e.g., immigrants, minorities, Chinese, etc...) to deflect responsibility. But nobody is going to do anything about that, so that's good. Like them stew in their own festering shit forever! That's a win for China as China is robust and powerful.

An alternative take on Sinopharm
In Singapore it has become somewhat of a "Luxury" good as opposed to the common perception in the west. Clinics charging $100 per vaccination, and one of the clinics has already imported 10,000 doses.
As mentioned in previous articles, some Singaporeans have been scared off mRNA after a couple young people suffered severe side effects (1 death, 1 major heart attack). Sinopharm is also more highly regarded than Sinovac this article seems to imply.

The rates of infection and death are basically 1000X worse than Canada, yet a travel advisory is issued… if anything you are safer in Canada than most US states.
How is something like this decided? I mean there is a case jump is most provinces and especially bad in the western provinces, but since most people are vaccinated and vaccinated recently, the large majority of new cases are amongst the unvaccinated.
Allegedly Philippine president Duerte also thought Sinopharm was better…

To be fair, according to the WHO (either paid off by the USA or China depending on who you ask) Sinovac is at 50.4% and Sinopharm is 76%. On top of that Sinovac was being used in nearby Indonesia which was hit hard by Delta.

The Sinovac trial results across different countries have had results ranging from efficacy of 50.4% right up to over 90% (If I remember correctly in the UAE trial.)
It is quite possible WHO was somehow coerced into putting in that worst figure.
