You think you can beat Mother Nature? That's bullshit. Humans will never exterminate every virus there is. Virus is important for evolution. Virus transmits genes between people, between animals and people.
Yes, in fact we believed in that for thousands of years. I know this is a English forum, but we literally have a saying for that. 人定胜天 出自 《逸周书·文传》:“人强胜天。”

.

The “percent of cases that turn critically ill is now 1.6%, compared to 4% at a similar stage in the third wave when there were no vaccines,” Prof. Eran Segal, a computational biologist at the Weizmann Institute of Science who advises the coronavirus cabinet, tweeted on Friday.
More importantly, COVID-19 has started to spread in Israel yet again. From the article above:
The reproduction rate (R), the number of people a sick person infects, stood at 1.37 – meaning that Covid-19 is spreading again.

Vaccine alone just does not cut it. Diligent testing and contact tracing, stringent preventive measures such as masking and social distancing, and strict quarantine rules are all needed to halt the spreading of the disease. That's what China has been doing. If you relax all other measures and mainly rely on the vaccine, COVID-19 will raise its ugly head again.

This is why RNA virus are so big trouble for vaccine. It mutates quickly to make vaccine useless. They were able to eradicate DNA virus like smallpox which mutate slowly and therefore can be beaten by vaccine but cannot eradicate RNA virus like polio which mutates quickly that makes vaccine useless.

When the Abrahamic god decided to drown the world in a deluge, Noah built an ark to ride out the flood.

When the Chinese gods broke the sky and caused the great flood, Great Yu led the people to build dikes and dig channels to tame the flood.

When the ten suns decided to all come out and play at the same time, causing drought and suffering, Hou Yi took a bow and shot down nine of the suns.

Your example does not constitute exempt to Ukraine. It has been for many other countries as well for more than half year starting with Japan and South Korea. I think the one who does not enjoy this policy is the minority rather than a few "privileged" country being exempted from general rule.
Yeah, but the fact still stands that it has nothing to do with the epidemic situation. It may be horrible - and business exchange may stand. It may be fair - and travel is around 0.

And yes, being in a minority behind go-go girls in nightclubs is indeed quite annoying.
