But people watching this news video clip would not think or rationalize this unfortunate scenario in proper context because fear of the unknown and what if scenario takes hold. Which goes to show that people are not really rational beings as much as we think we are and that people do actually behave or react irrationally and then rationalize our irrationality. Not to mention the idea of choice and free will. With lightning people can rationalize that so long one stays inside their homes then the chances of one getting struck by a lightning is even lower to non existent. While getting the vaccine as pushed and mandated by governments that most people inherently distrust regardless of political leanings then the video above can become a powerful raison detrè for some not to take the vaccine.
For someone, absent of evidence doesn't mean evidence of absence hence the strong belief in some circles on the lab leak theory and other conspiracy laden theories about the covid-19 pandemic.

Too many words. This is just the US trying to gain leverage vs China after Trump idiotically threw all of the US cards in the open.
If it wasn't for the Lab leak theory it would be for something else. Truth is, that US has gotten desperate after using so many of its cards and watching China steamrolling any opposition without using any of its own cards
So China has kept its cards and resisted the temptation to use them against the US in the past years.
This is why China scares the West so much. It resisted all these attacks without seriously counterattacking and it still grew.
China "sat" back and coldly watched as various of its industries were suffering from Trump's trade and tech war.
Now China has emerged stronger and it is still not using any cards even with the US "weakened" by covid. This is terrorising for them.
China is sitting back like an old but experienced man, watching and watching. When he truly takes action though, RIP to his target
One thing I am certain, is that when China decides to finaly come for the US' neck, then God help the US, I dont think that China will miss.

The second time it's being asserted is Biden adding to his anti-China credentials by "holding China accountable" before Biden (eventually) enters negotiations to drop the China tariffs.
To be fair, China hawks will still be calling him "weak", but at least this "Wuhan Lab Investigation" even if it is symbolic , still partially shields him from criticism of complete capitulation to China. Whatever he needs to play Kabuki theatre with domestic politics to set the stage for ramming through his agenda later on, go for it.

It looks like as long as you get vaccinated with one of these WHO approved vaccines, your vaccine passport will be recognized worldwide. China is now ramping up its vaccine capacity supplying the world. So far no Indian vaccines have been approved.
