Lol. This isn’t going to end well. If they do that. Not only is Taiwan screw military wise but this does nothing for their water issues or electrical grid issues, both of which China can help with and the USA can never do since their are no solutions that the USA can propose on the Mayer. It is pretty clear that Taiwan is screwed and the USA isn’t going to help at all, otherwise they would have done so by now and look like heroes. Someone needs to get rid of the current Taiwan government since it is clear that that women doesn’t care about the people at all and that all of her talk about being independent of China is an utter bluff that is becoming more evident with each passing day
The problem for china right now is if the US presents evidence of the 3 workers being sick. What will the chinese authorities do then?
Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
As someone said above, 3 employees are just 0.3% of WIV's staff. There were much more people in Wuhan who got the COVID then.
This is NOT a problem for China. It is a problem for whoever making the accusation.
Even the the original WSJ article (surprisingly) noted that the average Chinese person would goto a "hospital" rather than a general doctor for anytype of illness. I don't live in China so I am assuming people treat "hospitals" as just walk-in clinics equvalent in the west
Not so fast.
After china reaffirmed that no lab workers were sick, being internationally proven wrong will dent a blow (if not a serious one) to their credibility regarding the covid origins story.

China's state hospitals were all walk-in. I say "were" because when I left China, there was no "private" hospitals. Now there are some private hospitals. To the ordinary Chinese in cities, there are 3-tier state hospitals, e.g., city-district-borough. A state hospital is the default choice for majority.
