The first C919 to enter commercial services has been given a new registration number of B-919A. It flew from COMAC factory in Shanghai Pudong airport to Shanghai Hongqiao airport, got a water salute and delivered to China Eastern Airlines under wet and foggy Winter sky.

Wow, they actually delivered it just a little over two months from its certification date. For the ARJ21, it took nearly 11 months from certification (Dec. 2014) to delivery (Nov. 2015). Pretty cool. The ARJ21 took another 7 months from delivery until it was able to go into service, so we'll see if the C919 can beat that.
first step always tough. build infrastructure , ecosystem and stable the supply chain.
more surprises coming. C919 serial production will be faster too.
and CR929 rolling out will be easier than C919. as this project get immense help from stable ecosystem.
