These six are not prototypes that differ structurally from final product, they are mostly identical and in final production configuration. They are built in numbers to speed up the certification process with each one takes a set of test articles, but otherwise are the same. There is almost no changes from them to the production variant, even if there is it is minimum, otherwise it has to go through the certification procedure again. When the aircraft is certified by these six, they are in the state exactly as the production variant, that is the whole point of certification.I'm surprised. These six aircraft are test aircraft and they have made changes from aircraft to aircraft. Hard to understand why they would deliver these pre-production aircraft to customers.

about wing ? no information so far.
Seems less and less likely the wings will be built in Russia.For one thing, logistics, Shanghai is close to the sea. If the wings for the C929 are indeed built in Russia, they will likely be transported by boat from the Russian Far East.
