Mingyang will set up plant in Italy to support new offshore project it picked up there

this kind of deal is quite good. Wind turbines are really hard to ship. It’s best to set up plants close to where they are installed.

this deal has been controversial in Europe where many wind turbine makers have complained about it.

Researchers in China believe that we can get the cost of hydrogen production in sea water to be 0.4RMB/NM3. btw, that's crazy low.

I don't know how long this will take, but the Dongfang team wants to be the new oil.

That 0.4 RMB (or ~5.7c) is insanely cheap, 1m3 H2 gas at NTP has about 12.8 MJ energy or ~3.6 kWh energy. 1L petrol has about 9kWh energy

This became a news that Sinopec's demonstrator plant only produced 35% of the 20k ton expected in its first year in operation. A lot of the issues got overhyped and they were addressed.

Chinese people are fast learners and they will get very good at this.
