China's provinces with high amount of renewable resource generate really cheap energy. Solar and Wind in China is super cheap.
Vogle 3+4 took like eleven years to build. For two piddling 1GW reactors. This is not a normal project.
Total project cost of this Westinghouse NPP was $25 billion USD. Compare that with $11 billion USD cost of the slightly higher capacity Astravets NPP built by the Russians in Belarus.

Chinese NPPs are likely cheaper than even Russian ones.

his numbers are using "cost reduction" estimates + a lot of IRA related subsidies. Chinese wind & solar costs are pretty much unbeatable.

Economics for green hydrogen pretty much doesn't work anywhere outside of China where projects after projects are going up.

Even Bloomberg is reporting on it now. Too many canceled projects.

There is just not enough green money around the world to stimulate hydrogen demand.

There is only demand for cheap enough hydrogen.

Well first of all, zero climate cooperation should be done with the US.

In addition, I would say that the aggressive greening policies of shutting down coal mines and quickly closing off coal plants have slightly backfired, which is why you see now an urgent emergency expansion of coal mining

As for climate change effects, China is in significant danger due to its major population centres being near the sea

Check the graphic below by CGTN. Please take into account that we will probably exceed the 2 C warming

I know I am a dumbass at times, but please could someone tell me the source of these calculations of sea level rises? Does this source have any agendas?
