60 2000 Nm3/h electrolysis & 900 MW of solar/wind, 1 350k ton of methanol synthesis unit, 1 methanol distillation and 3 sets of 420 t/d biomass gasifier -> 320k ton of methanol per year
Ulanqab project combines 1.25GW wind and 1.15GW solar along with electrolysis & Nitrogen production equipment to produce 500k ton of green ammonia per year through 90k ton of green hydrogen
Until they can replace all those coal plants, there isn't such thing as overcapacity in renewables. There is just a huge under capacity in people that can install solar panels
big deal here if this works out. China does not have a globally relevant energy trading platform, but it does have one for critical minerals. Can move to include major green energy trading bolster Shanghai as a major energy trading center? They would be better served to combine it with oil and NG trading longer term
