A YouTuber blasting that lazy IGN review who gave Where Winds Meet a scathing review and a score of 6/10.

The IGN reviewer was lazy and condescending to the game. He didn't spend enough game time and was bitching about everything. He doesn't understand if the game is a single player RPG, MMORPG, life sim, action adventure, or open world, when it is all of them at once. So he concludes that the game is a confused mess.

LoL! But the game is free to play. So that IGN negative review is still good press, because its gonna raise curiosity. That's why gamers don't trust IGN anymore. Chinese soft power has arrived, and the Western elites are all too busy smoking copium.

IGN review on YouTube got hella ratio'd anyways, 1.7K likes to 13k dislikes

Western game journalists continue to erode whatever credibility they had left

Recent reports indicate that Varsapura, a new game led by Mihoyo founder Cai Haoyu, is set for release. The title translates to “City of Rain.” Published by Mihoyo's Singapore-based subsidiary Cognosphere Pte.

Interesting.
Been avoiding Hoyo games due to.. well some part of its fandoms which unfortunately more on the rabid side especially toward shippings/pairing of their in-game characters.

IGN gave concord an higher rating than Where Winds Meet.

Even their "Modern audience" didn't like that game and playing the CN games instead.. the thing is those also trying to bring their "modern ideology" in the game.
