Yeah those animations are just something else, i think in 10 years people will still be talking about those animations.Thinking about it more, AAA Games development requires a very developed human capital base.
A lot of people like saying how BM:W was developed by a team of 100+ people, but the total scope of people involved and shown in the games credits exceeds 1000, and most of the people credited are Chinese people working in China (not counting foreign VAs and people working for third-party services like Denuvo):
Even creating the beautiful end-of-chapter animations takes at least a few dozen people per animation and 5-6 animation companies. If India doesn't have the human capital base for this then there isn't a possibility an Indian studio would be able to make a game of this scale any time soon, especially since these games can take 4-5 years to make.
The Jai Hinds are still so jealous about the success of BM:W.

This Jai Hind said that with access to open-sourced Unreal Engine 5, Indian game developers could develop a AAA game soon that is better than BM:W, if only they can get the funding. Yeah, reminds me of another Jai Hind who said that India would sweep aside China in the Olympics if only they can get more funding. He claims that Indian game developers have many existing collaborations with Western game studios, so India must have powerful potential. Stupid Jai Hind! BM:W was fully developed in-house in China, and yet was a massive hit. A good AAA game is not only about good graphics, it needs to have good stability, good story, and most importantly, good gameplay.
The Indians are just so unoriginal. They want to follow everything China does, but also proudly boast that they can do better because they can collaborate with the West. They still celebrate their slavery to the West, as if that would give them a leg up over the "inferior Chinese". Just so shameless to the core.

Well, his points may sound valid, but his understanding of developing a good AAA game is incomplete at best. He is betting on good graphics, lots of funding, and foreign endorsement to enable India to develop a world-class AAA game. There are still many more things that are needed. As the last commenter had mentioned, India lacks much of the human capital to make a good AAA game. That will not magically appear tomorrow, as the Jai Hinds liked to wish so.Thanks for the link. It's interesting to see that perspective.
To be honest, in my view, because he is a game developer I find his points pretty valid except maybe that last line about how India will make a better game than Wukong soon.
That made me interested enough to check if he had other videos on the subject. The one posted in the OP was a reaction to another video.
This is his actual feelings on Wukong after playing Black Myth -- he is a fair reviewer and very much a fan of the game:
All that superiority complex with nothing to back it up only makes others see you with an inferiority complex. It's too bad they are too far up their shadow realm to see this.Well, his points may sound valid, but his understanding of developing a good AAA game is incomplete at best. Sure that Jai Hind praised BM:W. But why then must he also say that India will make a game better than BM:W soon? Only the arrogant Jai Hinds talk like this, because of their intense jealousy and superiority complex over China. He was very proud about the Indian game: Mukti because of its impressive graphics, as well as the recognition and investment from Sony. But that game is just an indie game, nothing like a proper AAA game, and is still not yet completed. He fails appreciate the scale of BM:W, and the immense work that goes behind developing that game. When BM:W launched its first trailer years ago, I had my own doubts, but I still had faith in Game Science. Then, what Game Science had delivered in the end was far beyond my expectations. Mukti still exists as a showcase trailer after 2 years, and I had not seen any actual gameplay trailers since. I'm getting some "PT" vibes about this game, and knowing the Indian way of doing things. I'm very doubtful that Mukti is gonna deliver on its promise, provided its gonna be completed at all.
For me, the no.1 reason why India can't develop anything close to a BM:W anytime soon is because too many Indians are not serious people and are effing arrogant. Its the same with everything else they do. They like to talk, talk, and talk. To those unfamiliar with their antics, they can sound smart and confident. But they never take anything seriously, especially their listeners. They've already declared victory before they even start anything. Then when they fail to achieve what they were boasting about, they blame others, especially China. I just cannot take them seriously, and they never fail to disappoint.
The Jai Hinds are still so jealous about the success of BM:W.
