Can anyone explain to me something I saw on f y j s. They have these pop-up ads that appear on the sides. In the past I've seen something that looks like advertisement for World of Warcraft type video games. For the past couple days I've seen what looks like a video game with a naked woman doing exercises on a battlefield and I just saw a man with either a flaming arm or he's shooting flames up a pig's butt.

Hmmm, since these days most ads are targeted what kind of websites have you been visiting?
:)

I'm not Chinese language proficient enough to be able to navigate the Chinese web so the only Chinese sites I visit are basically f y j s and c j d b y. I never seen video games like that advertise here in the US.

I've seen those, they're typical Chinese MMO game advertisements.

So Star Trek Online officially turned 5 this week.

Looks like they're doing a huge update again with new prestige classes and new missions and totally revamping an old storyline

Does anyone play Dead Island? I've been playing the single player and would like to try coop with a regular partner.

I've never liked coop myself, have you checked it out Dying Light? The zombies are much harder to kill but you do have parkour abilities.

This is Tech I am really interested in for a number of reasons. If they can get the price right and the Ergonomics are as advertised they could expand beyond just gaming and get a wide spread into all kinds of indistrys. then it could finally be the game changer VR was supposed to be.
Beyond just 3D movies and even 4D experiences (

) but into immersive environment more ride then film a true 5D I suppose.
Where the Patron enters the theater and sits down to watch lets say Jurassic park they place on the rift head set. the credits role the movie the Trex Scene starts the T-rex gets right in there face and Roars a Base speaker in the seat give them that feeling of there insides going gooey with the deafening blast jets of bad breath are released in a blast of force air and spray of a water. Each step causes the seat to literally jump as the creature looks over the Audience when Grant gets out of the SUV flare in hand and leads to rex away.

Out of Entertainment already Military simulations in similar sets have been trialed by the USdod allowing Training in locations that normally preclude such like aboard ship. Oculus Rift was trialed by the Norwegion Army for use to aide drivers of M113 APC's by combining imaging from cameras on the hull. One could see future Aviators and vehicle drivers and Next generation turrets for vehicles both military and civilian could change massively.

"Turrets on Civilian Vehicles?" Cranes.
a crane operator building a high rise has to climb to the operators booth often facing unnecessary dangers. Image a Crane operator sitting in a trailer at the base of the site reducing the additional insurance needed by having them work by remote yet still feel like they are in the Crane.
Future operations in Space where Armatures are used for space stations. or on the other end of the side of that coin Deep dving ROV's

As a long time FPS player, I'm torned...

Because I, like many others out there, only cares about the Modern Warfare Remastered Edition, and that means shell out $79.90 for it...or, are we just being prejudice against Infinite Warfare even before its debut?
