As one commenter under the article notes, even though the count of Chinese UAVs lost have been made to good accuracy, the author tries to not detail on the possible cause of losses or the impact that the threat environment or usage had on the loss.

The author is dismissive of any opinion that obstructs the focus of the article - " that Chinese drones are unreliable and has quality issues".

Anyway, the blog seem to be quite attentive of Turkey Military matters. I'm going to assume, cautiously ofcourse, that they have an interest in serving certain parties or goals. Not that I question the tally of drone losses. I do question the conclusions drawn.

As long as China finds more export customers, all is good.

When it comes to "China" everybody refuse to play fair and square these days, there should be a similar blog for Turkish drones as well, without the cheap patreon button

The website he cites, drone wars, has a tally of all drone types lost lover the past decade or so. The percentage of Chinese losses are not glaring, and most of them are combat losses.

I hate how that the CH-4 not being airworthy in Iraq is treated as if it is low quality when Scan Eagle and even the F-16 are no longer air worthy. When the South Koreans found major quality issues with their Global Hawk drones I don't recall any of the major media outlets calling American drones crap either.
