Is this a statement or a question? Because I'm under the impression that only the box wing UAV with single vertical tail fin is spotted outside at CAC...

Nope it is spotted at Huang Tiang Ba. The J-20 watchers on CD were the first to see it.
Side view is out. I am happy to say that this bird looks like nothing I've ever seen before.

With the range of 7000 km and cruising speed of 750 km/hr and high altitude, this bird is the most likely candidate to hunt the Carrier in open sea complementing the space based spy satellite
Anybody know the endurance of this UAV well you can calculate 7000/750=9 hr give or take. Well assuming you have 5 or 6 of these bird loitering in western Pacific, each have it own grid to circle of 4000 sq kilometer. You cover a lot of ground errgh sea !. Anybody know how fast is west Pacific is square kilometer
But this thing is so cheap and have long loiter time they can just mass produced
If you lower the speed to 500km/hr maybe they have 12 hr loiter time
I say another building block for ASBM system in place!

O.k ... maybe it's because of the heat this day or because I was with four kind in the Zoo today ...
Both UAV's - the smaller global-hawk-like and this new box-wing-thing - have been spotted at CAC ... but only the smaller one is designed by CAC whereas the larger one by GAIC & CAC !???
And finally ... the small one is the called the "Sky Wing" and the new one is the "Soaring Eagle" or "Soar Dragon" ... I don't get it !

I think that is the case -- it was a joint development between guizhou and CAC, with guizhou designing it and manufacturing some parts, CAC doing the rest.
I wonder if we'll get numbers for this bird's endurance any time soon -- Pterodactyl and CH-3 had around a day, and 12 hours respectively. This thing looks like it should be able to stay up at least a day.
Did they say whether it was a real prototype or just a mock up? I have a feeling it might be a mock up because the landing gear seems strange.
Why the heck would they move a mockup outside?

Peishens, a big shrimp on CD, said that the plane is just a demonstrator for sensor integration.
