If we look at the platform as a holistic package (hardware + software), then yes, it's possible he's only referring to the 'software' part.

I'm gon'na miss your great photo contributions for the next two weeks.
I've found that the ignore button is the most effective way to address personality disorders, here. As such, I miss the majority of the posts made, here.

Not sure what that is, but 'Dark Sword' or Anjian first showed up around 2007. Then it was never heard of again, and now it seems to have suddenly reappeared?

This seems to me using PR for funding.

A slightly larger and clearer photo.

the photo looks strange to me. I suspect it is PSed.
Look at the air intake, imagine it in 3D. The photo is supposed to be taken at side-front because the vertical stabilizer behind the fuselage is shown. Therefore the inner side of the air intake lip on the far side of the fuselage should be visible, but it is not.

Or maybe as the above article implies, they have achieved a mature design and development stage. Mature enough to give them confidence to show it off.

They don’t line their engineers in front of their project and take a photo simply because they are failing and are desperate for help...

The intake lip slants backwards sharply. So it is possible that, at the current angle, the far side of the lip may not show...

If you go to the website shared by Dannhill above, it shows a photo of the F-16 on the left. The photo was taken at a similar angle as the Dark Sword. And you can’t see the far side of the lip.

But isn't this on some air show?
