Good to see the time tested CJ-6 basic trainers are still produced. Cockpit windscreen looks different from previous aircraft, I wish we could look into the updated cockpit of the latest production variant.Hongdu production facility.
Is this a serious thing or is it "PLANAF's CNY greeting/begging for more funding by appearing poor" type thing?Training the next generation of carrier aviators in CJ-6s.
Also that second photo had the plane angled just right to make a tricycle landing gear arrangement look like a taildragger, the right wing landing gear is positioned exactly right to make it look like a tail gear.

It's that time of the year again...
In 2024, the PLAN is so poor that all their J-15s got repo'ed. Now, they have to resort to operating CJ-6s from Fujian instead:
