Though (and I try to say this not as copium but my actual suspicion) this does not sound like they're donezo forever at all. I think there is something in place. It's clearly elevated to a national level between CN and US.
I actually want it to stay closed. Otherwise it will go back to bread and circuses and most young people will forget about it in a couple of months.
An important point is just how much, dare I say division, or infighting, this has caused. The more energy they spend within themselves, the less they have directed outwards towards us.
