yielding a 253-fold improvement in the signal-to-noise ratio and a 297-fold increase in precision
New breakthrough in precision and SNR of chip scaled silicon-based gyroscope, matching the bulky strategic-level precision HRG. This could have major strategic implications

According to Google AI,
...its metrics place it squarely at the entry-to-mid level of Navigation Grade.

  • GPS-Denied Navigation: Tiny consumer-sized drones, micro-satellites, and tactical autonomous vehicles can now compute ultra-precise long-term trajectories without relying on a GPS or cellular signal.
  • Hardware Downsizing: Bulky, fragile, and expensive optical Ring Laser Gyroscopes (RLGs) or large mechanical HRGs can be swapped out for tiny silicon chips in critical defense and aerospace applications.

Short of strategic grade is the next level, which is required for submarines and ICBMs.

Wingtech CEO says that Nexperia China now has full ability to operate independently. It has fully realized closed-loop supply chain for its MOSFET and Logic IC product lines and anticipates completing the closed-loop supply chain for its Bipolar Transistor product line within 2026. It is restoring its capacity & delivery capabilities.

So what would happen to Nexperia Dutch then?

Nexperia Dutch was previously keeping itself afloat by selling wafers to middlemen customers who then send them to China for packaging.

Now that Wingtech has fully replaced need for German fab outputs and has no more reason to accept middlemen wafers (which are also older 8in gen), they're basically dead.

Fact that the Dutch tried their stunt in SCS certainly wont help in deciding if China will allow Nexperia Dutch to survive.

Lol

So Nexperia Dutch is in limbo? Honestly, its really beyond me sending rusty sole F804 frigate in Xisha .. what is the purpose? Do they think China would be scared of that? in fact the outcome will likely the opposite
If China want, it would get sunk in less than 15 mins (of course it won't happen)

Its actually very easy to understand Dutch behavior and motivations if you model them as an animal: their memory span is too short to connect cause and effects, they have a biological instinct for biting, and they only understand reward and pain.

Why does a chuwawa bark? Any analysis based on human motivation is a waste of time, the chuwawa barks because thats the nature of their kind, they have no motivation, they dont think, they're not people.

They still have the German and UK fabs as well as the packaging facilities in Malaysia and Philippines. Those packaging facilities were smaller than Chinese one so not enough to process all their wafer output. So they have taken a loan to expand the packaging facilities.
so we will see Nexperia dutch and China as 2 entities ?

How are logic folding chips being made? Are they layers being fabbed seperately and then used advanced packaging to glue together? Or they use multiple pattening to build up the 3d structure?
