Kema Technology's multi-size ultra-high purity silicon carbide products are being promoted

Kema Technology said that its advanced materials production base in Suzhou, Jiangsu has officially started production, focusing on the layout of "structure-function" integrated module products such as ceramic heaters, electrostatic chucks and ultra-high purity silicon carbide kits. After the base is put into production, the company's production capacity will be significantly improved, and the strategic transformation from traditional ceramic structural parts to high value-added modular products will be accelerated. It is reported that the base project covers mature production lines for products such as alumina, zirconium oxide, silicon carbide, aluminum nitride, silicon nitride, yttrium oxide and titanium oxide ceramics.

In terms of the verification progress of the ultra-high purity silicon carbide kit, the product purity has reached 99.99%, the defect density is controlled at ≤1/cm², and the technical indicators have reached the domestic leading level. The 6-inch product has been mass-produced and supplied to customers such as NAURA; the 8-inch product has basically passed the client verification and is being promoted to mass production at the Fab end; the 12-inch components (such as wafer boats and thermal insulation sheets) have entered the equipment verification stage.

Interesting. So it seems China should focus more on process control,ion implanters,Dicing and bonding . Since these are the sectors they have loss market share in. The other sectors seems to be doing quite well. Impressive . Will be interesting to see how this diagram will look like in another 5 years
This report includes a total of 7 Chinese SME companies (see its appendix table). Their extremely incomplete statistics led to meaningless/wrong market share conclusions.
For example there’s over 20 etch SMEs in China, but they only included two.

The company released its 2025 semi-annual performance forecast, with a net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company expected to be 114 million to 139 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 179% to 240%. Xinkailai applied for a patent for a reflector with infrared absorption coating and a laser-maintained plasma light source to reduce or avoid the return of pump laser to the laser​

Shenzhen Xinkailai Industrial Machinery Co., Ltd. has applied for a patent called "Reflector with infrared absorption coating and laser-maintained plasma light source", publication number CN120300576A, and application date is April 2025.

The patent abstract shows that the present application provides a reflector with an infrared absorption coating and a laser-maintained plasma light source. The reflector with an infrared absorption coating is applied to a laser-maintained plasma light source. The inner surface of the reflector forms a reflective surface for reflecting light, and the reflective surface is a curved surface. The reflective surface has a first coating area and a second coating area. The first coating area is provided with an infrared reflection film, and the infrared reflection film can reflect infrared light and is used to converge the pump laser to the plasma of the laser-maintained plasma light source. The thing is Huawei does not have a level playing field to compete.

Nvidia has a ceiling in terms of performance for what they can sell in China, that can be revoked or changed at any time arbitrarily by the US government. Huawei doesn't have any of those risks/restrictions, so this shouldn't be enough to dissuade Chinese AI firms from buying a portion of their AI chips from Huawei as a hedge against uncertainty and the expectation that Huawei's ecosystem and performance will improve in the future.
