How many % of foreign equipment roughly is used currently to produce 14nm chips by SMIC ? my guess is 30-40% ?

That make the 2022's 14nm shall use all SMEE 28nm DUV Lithography.

They already produce 14 nm chips, e.g. Kirin 710A is made with SMIC's 14 nm. The difference is that they plan to launch a fully indigenous supply chain for the 14 nm in 2022, nowadays the 14 nm depends on foreign DUV (ASML, Nikon, Canon) machines. The same with 28 nm - Chinese companies already have big 28 nm capacities, what is launching this year is the localized supply chain for this process - i.e. all the equipment and expendables.
