Well it hit both Huawei and SMIC hard but it survived and made them more stronger in the long run. What I see is the calmness and confidence instead of Panic and it really vexing the American really hard...lol in fact those frustration is giving the Chinese a Hard BxxxR...hahaha Bro my guess and is that the domestic 14nm line is done with verification and all, next year deployment may include 7nm trial run and verification for its 2023 deployment. Bro there is a thread here about China war economic production capacity, I think China now is in a war footing to decouple itself from the West and preparation is done for possible war and sanction, it had become a whole nation approach. Xi had decided to fight, the reason is simple , Its for the survival of the Chinese civilization and its people. And the West need to study history and see where the Chinese confidence came from, its not bravado but the Chinese are use to hardship and sacrifice and when faced with adversity and threat, it always create miracle due to collective will and purpose.
