Then the media should educate these Chinese. WTF are they doing. If Chinese don't support Chinese, then what's the point. I feel even Indians are more patriotic.

I think a lot of China strategists are already thanking the US "strategists" on a job well done.
In the future, when China prevails in every area the US is targeting them, conspiracy theorists will look back and accuse US "strategists" of being China lovers and China moles. Just like that guy Gordon Chang who appears to be an anti-China hardliner but is actually a China loving US strategist who helped China all these years.Remember the ? The US Navy used 2 aircraft carrier battle groups in the area and sailed through the Taiwan Strait to let China know that America would militarily stop China. This was in the backdrop of where Iraq was mauled like a chihuahua vs a pitbull. Anybody who knows the real military balance today, knows the turning point were those events, but especially the Taiwan Crisis. That was 20 times harder to overcome than the current tech war. China was unstoppable even 10 years ago. These US "strategists" are in la-la land. Today, short of a full scale nuclear/biological war, China is unbeatable. That means, eventually there will be covert biowarfare against China, assuming it hasn't already started. Anglo-American "strategists" are not only knuckleheads, they are absolute mental cases.
It also our job as part of the tens of millions of overseas chinese to inform our brothers and sisters back in China about the bullshit racism here. China is strong, but we must also do our part. I've made to my relatives abundantly clear that we live in Cold War II.
If the US is indeed against it, it will then ensure that it is blocked.
From the time I lived in China, I remember that there was almost no hostility against foreign nations in media. I imagine a lot of Chinese getting shocked about people's attitude about China when they travel to the West for the first time.

Not the west but I would say the US and to some extent Britain under the Boris Johnson regime. It was worst during the Trump era. Now relations are getting better under Biden. Democrats are Communist lite.
Wow!! This is fantastic news. It might possibly be easier to list which components, other than the Snapdragon chip, ARE NOT Chinese. Does anybody know?
