Yesterday Olala posted them on Twitter and he said this is not SMIC but another fab. He claimed there are two Fabs making 9000s, one being SMIC and another one in Qingdao.
can we just stop this nonsense? the only one capable of making this is SMSC fab.

No.

You can only find huawei in MEMS and packaging area. Doing 7nm chips is not easy. Huawei's advanced chipmaking effort is at PXW and that is only starting production this year.

Huawei is great, but we are seriously in danger of getting absorbed into idol worship at this point

Of course, I cannot be 100% sure of my sources, but I think they are pretty good and everything points to SMIC

In order to commercialize 6G by 2028 with 6G phones, it's good to develop the technology that will be needed for 6G right now. This will allow coverage no matter where you are. Including on planes or desserts or oceans. You just need your phone and can get data coverage.

China wasn't in the game at all when 2G/3G/4G came out. For 5G, it just achieved having full supply chain more than 5 years after QCOM's X50 came out. For 6G, Chinese phone makers don't want to be behind, so it's good for them to achieve important part of it now.

Other parts like filters supporting 6GHz and above are getting developed and tested right now. The goal will be to have domestic 6G modem from day 1

Looks like MSM have moved from the shock and denial phase to pain and guilt phase. Can’t wait for the anger phase to start. It’ll probably look something like this.

They are still lying, or the MSM misrepresenting the truth.

An Apple phone, can only get those same speeds as the Mate 60 Pro, on a China based 5G network.

Nobody else has a standalone 5G network.

Those speeds for the downloads should be the C-Band, although it could be the mmWave either which is faster. This really is the reporter's job to find out.

Recently, Sanan Optoelectronics announced its 2023 semi-annual report. During the reporting period, the overall revenue was about 6.469 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 4.33%; the net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was 170 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 81.76%; The deduction of non-net profit was -555 million yuan, and the overall situation is roughly in line with the performance forecast announced in July.

I think at this point,we can safely assume that Natachem is a scam. Whenever being asked about their ArF photoresist progress,the answer is always “verified but xxxx”. Since 2019,Natachem has not make any progress on this,they seem to have stuck in this verify stage forever.

Havok was right,SinYang is the most promising company in China when it come to ArF photoresist. Forget about Natachem

Research company TechInsights said in a note on its WeChat account that SMIC has used existing equipment and applied its second-generation 7-nanometre process, known as the N+2 node, to manufacture the 5G-capable Kirin 9000s for Huawei. The California-based research firm said it would provide more details on the phone’s connectivity next week.
