Looks like they are pretty involved in qualifying for memory chip customers Fujian Jinhua, YMTC & CXMT.
Fujian Jinhua will increase production by 20k wpm
YMTC will mostly just be validating domestic tools this year, no production increase
Looks like they are hoping to sign something with SMIC but hasn't gotten any orders. Hoping to get immersion process orders.
Looks like Jinhua is a major customer for them.

Does anybody know what JinHua is producing now? From this interview,it seems that JinHua is still classified as one of the three “memory maker”. But I heard early that JinHua will not make memory anymore after sanction

The United States is turning the screws on South Korea in relation to China. I expect South Korea to yield, though not willingly.

Tech war: South Korea to ask US to let chip makers keep investment in China
  • Seoul is seeking ways to allow chip makers such as Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix to retain semiconductor facilities in China
  • It is still unclear whether South Korean companies can extend a one-year reprieve from the US on its export controls targeting China

Is there no Chinese alternative to Intel and AMD to date? nor with inferior results but with capacity to supply the local market?

as long as companies like Huawei remain dependent on the US, Democrats and Republicans will continue to blackmail and embarrass China, and it won't stop there.

Intel and AMD make many products, which segment are you talking about? PC chips, server chips, GPU, embedded?

wow, U.S chip companies should worry about themselves and not China from 2025
I just see the market nurturing technology
I never saw the technology that feeds the market

I believe in this too.

That's why I asked if there are already Chinese alternatives to every export ban the US threatens.

This new open source linux used large scale AI model system being developed by BAAI will pull in all the major chip producers in China as well as Huawei & Inspur.
目前该项目已和天数智芯、百度PaddlePaddle、昆仑芯科技、中国移动等深度合作,共同推进AI硬件评测建设。围绕FlagPerf,也将有更多厂商和团队加入共同贡献的大家庭。
It's getting help from Baidu PaddlePaddle, Inspur AI Station & China mobile Jiutian as well as Kunlunxin and Tianshu. Looks like a national effort in AI that will also make itself available to international developers.
Talks about using domestic CPU also
