Loongson's main customers are Chinese military and government. They don't have much commercial presence primarily due to lack of ecosystem.
This is nice. A SPI controlled 5 GB memory chip is really good for embedded electronics. Much fewer lines than a PCI interface and you don't need the speed for a dishwasher.
